 Ny Triumph ble funnet i Texas. Samme rute hjem som så mange andre. Har funnet forskjellige opplysninger om hvor mange som ble produsert fra 300 til 512 stk over 3 år. Cosworth har endret topp og kam og det sammen med andre stempler og redyset forgassere økte effekten med ca 20hk i forhold til den vanlige Daytona 900. Kontaktet Triumph og de mente de kunne skaffe papirer slik at godkjenning skulle ordnes på en enkel måte.

"Its is rare - only 300 made, 150 to USA and 150 to the rest of the world. Its basically a tuned and lightened version of the standard Daytona 900, with tuning work done by Cosworth. The cams are different as is the state of tuning of the carbs, also the compression is higher and I think the engines cases are lighter. Excellent six pot brakes by Alcan - very desirable! Then theres the use of carbon fibre. Power is up to a claimed 115bhp from 97bhp, and weight is a few kilos down on the standard."
