Triumph TT600 2000

 

 

To TT600 ble kjøpt sommeren 2020. Dette var prosjekt som var påbegynt og oppgitt av forrige eier. Begge hadde plastikk / kosmetiske skader etter velt i lav fart. En var påbegynt ombygd til noe lignende en "Triumph Speed Four", den andre var kun demontert. Etter en kjapp tur til Vestlandet var de parkert i Trøndelag sammen med 20 andre slektninger. Uken etter dukket det plutselig opp en til som også vil trenge litt jobbing før den kan kjøres

2000: Triumph TT600 launched. The verdict was the braking system and handling were top notch but looks and power delivery were widely slated.

2001: Triumph made numerous modifications to the Triumph TT600's engine: aiming to maintain power at the top end whilst smoothing out power delivery and giving it more pull lower in the rev range. There was a vast improvement.

2003: Triumph TT600 discontinued.

Triumph wowed us all when they beat all the Japanese manufacturers to putting a fuel injected engine in to a 600cc sportsbike. Shame about the glitches. Later Triumph TT600s are better but the handling and brakes have never been in doubt: they’re awe-inspiring. Dodgy looks but a true Brit.
